Lizzie’s debut novel, The Stars Will Be Our Ocean, will be coming out in 2026! This long-time Virginia-native graphic designer is newly transplanted to upstate New York, where her future is still unfolding. She’s been storytelling since before she could write, but it took many evolutions to find her calling writing queer romantic speculative fiction. Samantha Breaux is the author of the GRAY LADY CHRONICLES, a romantic fantasy series about a thief with a heart of gold and a priest of the dead. The first book in the series, THIEF OF DEATH, will debut in late 2026. She currently lives in the Houston area with her husband, two sons, enough books to stock a small library, and a garden desperately attempting to escape her backyard. A lifelong lover of fantasy and science fiction, Samantha began writing her own stories in sixth grade and never stopped. This love of the written word led her to a career sharing her passion for reading and writing as an elementary teacher. Inspired by authors like Terry Pratchett and T. Kingfisher, Samantha writes books about magic, mayhem, and snarky women. Her favorite plants are ones that thrive under mild neglect.
Eliwood S. Gheist

Eliwood has completed several novels, but the important ones are in the horror-fantasy Bludeye Beach series, or romantasy Eyes Shine Silver in Moonlight. During the day she works in IT. She has been writing since she was a young child, but only has started working seriously towards a writing career in the last two years. Emily is the author of THE GODS OF ATLANTIS, a YA fantasy trilogy whose first book will debut in 2026. She is also currently working on TENEMENT, a YA dystopia set inside a creepy infinite building. Although born and raised in Houston, Texas, she lived briefly in Fairbanks, Alaska, while working toward her master’s degree in English, and hopes to one day return! When she’s not writing, making art or feeding her army of cats, she teaches English at a college in the Houston area. Kara is the author of the Ao Rakona romances, starting with A Prayer for the Pirate Queen. We can neither confirm nor deny that this is the secret identity of author Hiria Dunning from Aotearoa New Zealand. They have been working on Ao Rakona in one way or another since 2020, with one award for their work so far (Pacific Hearts 3rd Place 2024, for Love Amongst Liars). In their spare time they enjoy laughing at/with their children and dodging their cat’s assassination attempts.
